Patricia Morgan, bassoonist, is from Glenn Dale, Maryland, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Performance from The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University in her home state.

 

Patricia continued her studies with Benjamin Kamins at Rice University, earning a Master’s Degree. She attended numerous music festivals as a fellow including Spoleto USA, Tanglewood Music Center, Blossom, and the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan. Since then, she has held positions with the Augusta (GA) Symphony, the Chattanooga Symphony, the Des Moines Metro Opera, and performed as a substitute with the Atlanta Symphony from 2005-2009.

 

Patricia has been second bassoon in the Annapolis Symphony since 2011.
