Beginner Group Classes
Calling all future musicians! Is your child interested in trying a musical instrument? Young students do well learning an instrument in a group setting. Making music with friends is a wonderful introduction to classical music. Parents attend classes and learn along with their children and supporting home practice. The class will perform on the ASA recitals.
Class Schedules:
Mondays:
4:00-4:45pm - Beginner Cello Class - Age 4-6
4:45-5:30pm - Beginner Cello Class - Ages 7-9
5:00-5:45pm - Beginner Violin Class - Ages 7-9
6:00-6:45pm - Beginner Clarinet Class - ages 10-11
6:45-7:30pm - Beginner Clarinet Class- ages 12-15
Tuesdays:
4:00-4:45pm - Beginner Violin Class - Age 4-6
What are weekly beginner group classes, and why are they important?
Weekly beginner classes are group sessions with our faculty of leading Annapolis Symphony Orchestra musicians. Group classes taught by a professional musician are a collegiate, fun way to advance a students' playing skills. In class students work on technique and repertoire appropriate for their playing level while our teachers provide support, encouragement, and mentorship.
New applicants, follow this simple process:
1) Fill out our Application Form.
2) We will notify you of the audition results and your placement in our programs.
Tuition and Fees
Administrative fee*: $125
Tuition (10 monthly payments per academic year):
$100 per month
