In addition to serving as Principal Tuba with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Jake Fewx is the Coordinator for the Annapolis Symphony Academy Discovery Program and the Wind/Brass/Percussion Recruiting Coordinator for the Academy.

 

Jake brings a wide range of teaching experience across musical styles and age groups. After more than five years teaching general music, he has developed a deep passion for early music education—one he is excited to foster throughout the ASA program.

Fewx’s performance career has taken him across the globe, collaborating with renowned ensembles including the Philadelphia Orchestra, National Philharmonic, Odessa Orchestra, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Eugene Symphony, The Orchestra Now, Orchestra Next, and the award-winning World of Hans Zimmer Orchestra. His most memorable performances have been featured in celebrated venues such as the Palau de la Música de València, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and Carnegie Hall.
