Principal Viola - Baltimore Chamber Orchestra
Chiara Kingsley Dieguez is an active chamber and orchestral musician in the greater Washington D.C. area, where she is Principal Viola of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and performs regularly with the National Symphony, the Baltimore Symphony, the Washington National Opera, and the Eclipse Chamber Orchestra. She is also a member of the IBIS Chamber Music Society of Arlington, VA, and appears regularly as guest artist with the Baltimore based Sundays at Three and Chamber Music by Candlelight series, as well as the Atlantic Chamber Ensemble of RIchmond, VA.
Ms. Dieguez enjoys traveling, and looks forward to spending her summers with the Grand Teton Music Festival, where she plays in both the Festival Orchestra and the Spotlight Series chamber concerts. She also enjoys escaping to sunny Arizona each February to play Principal Viola with the Arizona Musicfest Orchestra. Before moving to the D.C. area, Ms. Dieguez served as Associate Principal Viola of the Phoenix Symphony for 7 years, and was also formerly a member of the prizewinning Sonore String Quartet, the Downtown Chamber Series of Phoenix, and the Mainly Mozart Festival of San Diego, CA. Ms. Dieguez currently resides in Bowie. MD, with her husband and two children.
